The Breeden Company, the nationally recognized Virginia Beach-based real estate development firm, announced they have broken ground on Avant at Huntington Pointe, a $33 million multifamily project in the new Huntington Pointe area of Newport News. Breeden Construction will serve as general contractor on the project. The Breeden Company’s Property Management division will manage the asset once construction is complete. The project is located off Denbigh Blvd. Avant at Huntington Pointe is the multifamily addition to the recently developed planned community.
“Huntington Pointe is one of the premier neighborhoods in the area,” says Tim Faulkner, Chief Executive Officer of The Breeden Company. “The multifamily addition to this neighborhood will continue to bring sought-after residential space to this bustling submarket.”
The upscale apartment community will offer 176 one, two and three-bedroom apartments with square footages ranging from 672-1517. Amenities include multiple courtyards for entertaining, a fitness center and community room. In addition to Avant at Huntington Pointe, The Breeden Company is working on several other developments in the Hampton Roads market including Lake Taylor Pointe in Norfolk, Virginia; 15Hundred Hilltop in Virginia Beach, Virginia and The Pinnacle on 31st Street in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
