Developer Secures $74.75M for Coney Island Residential Project
Developer and general contractor, , has secured a $74.75 million loan for an 8-story residential project, set to rise at 2971 Shell Road in Brooklyn's Coney Island neighborhood. Issued by Popular Bank, the financing will be used to fund all construction costs from start to finish.
Known as "The Bay", the building will contain apartment units, as well as an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , it will stand feet tall and total square feet. The Bay will offer a number of tenant amenities, including a rooftop terrace with a pool and BBQ station, a fitness center, a rec room, a children's playroom, a resident lounge, and co-working spaces. Penthouse apartments will also feature private terraces.
Alternately addressed as 2957 Shell Road, the project site measures square feet and sits on the corner of Shell Road and Neptune Avenue.
Sitework has already commenced and the old parking lot that previously occupied the property has since been torn up. Construction is expected to finish sometime around the fall of 2024.
