Developers Acquire Land in Estero for $32 Million
Woodfield Development and ELV Associates purchased 45.6 acres of land at U.S. 41 and Coconut Road for $32 million. The developers envision an apartment complex and town center on the site, which has frontage along U.S. 41 across from the Coconut Creek shopping center. The development is expected to be a luxury, market-rate apartment complex, the number of apartment units has not been determined, with surrounding restaurants and retail. The land will need to be rezoned for mixed-use planned development. Groundbreaking is expected within two years.
