Developers Receive $43.5M in Funding to Build Affordable Housing Community in Fort Lauderdale
An affordable senior housing community, Mount Hermon Apartments has secured the financing to begin construction. Plans include a 7-story structure to be built at 750 Northwest 4th Street, Fort Lauderdale FL and will feature reserved units for income-qualifying seniors aged 62 and above whose income falls at or below 25 and 60 percent of the area median income (AMI). The rents will range from $425 to $1,225 per month.
Amenities will include a rooftop pool and deck with lounge seating, a modern fitness center, a multipurpose clubroom with a kitchenette, and an outdoor community gathering spa.
Construction is scheduled for completion in late 2024.
