Douglas Development Proposed 550+ Unit NoMa Project
Douglas Development has filed plans for a mixed-use project to replace a surface parking lot at the corner of 1st Street & New York Ave. NE in NoMa. The building would include 557 residential units, a 5,687 square foot penthouse space devoted to “nightclub, bar, cocktail lounge, or restaurant” plus 10,280 square feet of ground-floor retail, and 264 parking spaces. The development would also include amenity space including a rooftop pool.
