Equipment On-Site Ahead of 22-Story Mixed-Use Project in Gowanus
Drilling rigs, excavators, and support equipment are now on-site at 155 3rd Avenue in Gowanus, Brooklyn; ahead of a 22-story, mixed-use tower project.
Developed by , the building is set to contain rental apartments, square feet of commercial space, and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
While a complete list of tenant amenities is not available at this time, we do know that the development will feature a roof deck with an outdoor swimming pool, numerous seating areas, and BBQ stations.
As the project site sits on the banks of the Gowanus Canal, the building will also have a waterfront esplanade, complete with seating areas, landscaping, and a dog park.
Designed by , 155 3rd Street will stand feet tall and total square feet altogether. is serving as the general contractor of the project, and work is anticipated to complete by December of 2025.
This new project comes amid a massive development boom in Gowanus, which is transforming the neighborhood from an old industrial district into a highly desirable, and densely populated, residential area.
