Interior Finishing Underway at 300 Huntington Street
General contractor, Monadnock Construction, and its development subsidiary, Monadnock Development, are beginning to wrap up a 6-story, commercial mixed-use project, at 300 Huntington Street on the southern boundary of Brooklyn's Gowanus neighborhood. The team is currently tackling interior finishing work and final touches.
Located on the Gowanus Canal waterfront, the structure is set to contain 80,219 square feet of office space, 12,288 square feet of retail, and almost 3,500 square feet of dedicated manufacturing space.
At over 7,500 square feet, the outdoor waterfront area will consist of a walkway and a paved plaza. Envisioned by SCAPE Landscape Architecture, it will feature seating areas and various green spaces.
Altogether, 300 Huntington Street will total 101,221 square feet, with both Bernheimer Architecture and Dattner Architects having a hand in the design process.
Wells Fargo provided a $42.5 million construction loan that has been used to fund the project from the ground up. With construction nearly finished now, work is expected to conclude sometime in early 2024.
