Excavation Kicks Off for 40-Story Greenpoint Tower
General contractor, Monadnock Construction, has started excavation and drilling work on a 40-story residential tower, set to rise at 16 Dupont Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Jointly developed by Park Tower Group and The Rockefeller Group, the building will contain apartment units.
Plans also call for square feet of commercial space (likely ground floor retail), and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by Gerner, Kronick + Valcarcel Architects, 16 Dupont Street will stand feet tall and total square feet. Construction is estimated to take until the spring of 2025.
