Facade finishing underway at 31 Orleans Street apartments in East Boston’s Jeffries Point
The four-story structure of 31 Orleans Street, a new-construction 14-unit apartment development located in East Boston’s Jeffries Point neighborhood steps from the East Boston Waterfront, has been fully sealed. All windows have been installed, and the wood-framed structure has been enclosed with moisture-resistant cladding.
Finishing of 31 Orleans Street’s facade with red bricks and installation of interior finishes are both now underway. 31 Orleans Street is located a short walk from Maverick Square and the MBTA Blue Line, minutes from Downtown Boston, and is expected to open to residents in 2018. The building will be LEED Gold-certified, and will include amenities such as a roof deck and on-site garage parking. The following are photographs of 31 Orleans Street:
