Facade Installation Wrapping Up for Large Affordable Housing in Cypress Hills

Masonry subcontractor, Cosan Construction Corp, has nearly wrapped up the facade installation process for a topped-out, 13-story, mixed-use residential project, going up at 265 Logan Street in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Known as "Logan Fountain", the building is being developed by The Hudson CompaniesJericho Project, and Help USA. It will contain residential units, consisting of affordable housing (69 units), supportive housing (105 units), and a transitional housing shelter for homeless families (169 units).

Tenant amenities are to include an outdoor courtyard, a children's play area, and social service program areas catered specifically to assist the needs of all three population sectors residing within the building. In addition to residential space, plans call for square feet of retail space, located on the ground floor, and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.

Designed by , the structure stands feet tall and totals square feet. Construction is being overseen at the top level by general contractor, , and the project broke ground back in December of 2022. The development comes as a result of the 2016 East New York Rezoning Initiative, and work is expected to finish towards the end of 2024.
