Facade Installation Wraps Up at 40 Bruckner Boulevard
General contractor, , is wrapping up the facade installation process on a large, 12-story, mixed-use project, going up at 40 Bruckner Boulevard in the Bronx's Mott Haven neighborhood.
Developed by , the building is set to contain rental apartments, spanning the top 11 floors. Approximately 110 of these units have been dedicated to affordable housing (NYC Housing Connect's lottery applicant period for this development closed on October 20th).
In addition to residential units, the ground floor will offer square feet of retail space, as well as 706 square feet of community facilities.
40 Bruckner will feature 30,000 square feet of tenant amenities, including a fitness center, a swimming pool, an indoor-outdoor sunken garden in the lobby, a dog park, a children's playroom and playground, media and recreation rooms, a business center, a roof deck, and an outdoor terrace. Plans also call for a bicycle storage area, as well as an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , the structure stands feet tall and totals square feet altogether. Work is estimated to finish by the winter of 2024.
