Facade Work in Progress for Luxury Kips Bay Condo Tower
Facade work is beginning to wrap up on an 18-story, residential building, going up at 609 2nd Avenue in Manhattan's Kips Bay neighborhood.
Developed by and constructed in-house under the name Britt Realty LLC, the tower is set to contain luxury condo units, available in studio and one to three-bedroom configurations. Floors 15-18 will feature 4 penthouses (each spanning a full floor and featuring either a balcony or a private terrace).
The building will offer a number of tenant amenities, including a resident lounge, a fitness center with a yoga space, a half-basketball court, and a rooftop deck with cooking and dining areas.
The lobby of the structure will also transition into a landscaped courtyard with a water feature and plans further call for square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Designed by , 609 2nd Avenue stands feet tall and totals square feet. Construction is estimated to finish sometime before the end of the year.
