Georgetown University Acquires Mass. Ave Property for $85M
Georgetown University has acquired the property at 111 Massachusetts Ave NW from Douglas Development for $85,000,000.00. The existing 8-story office building is currently unoccupied with approved plans calling for the construction of a 3-story addition to the building. The University plans to use the property for a mix of academic and administrative purposes. Per documents filed with DC's Zoning Office this summer, Georgetown has not yet determined whether (or when) they will proceed with plans for the addition.
