GMU Breaks Ground on Arlington Campus
At an event celebrating the University's 50th Anniversary this week, the ground breaking ceremony was held to signal the beginning of construction of Fuse at Mason Square, a new $235 million building in Virginia Square that will house the University’s new School of Computing as well as house the faculty from the Institute for Digital InnovAtion. Along with lecture halls and offices, there is an atrium and a public plaza, a 750-sear theater, and underground parking planned for the facility.
