Greystar Closes on $600M in Construction Financing for 3 Projects in MD & TX
Greystar has closed on $600M in construction financing for three student housing developments located in Maryland & Texas. The projects include Union on San Antonio, Union on 24th, & Union on Knox. Union on San Antonio will feature 991 beds located just one block from the University of Texas at Austin campus. Union on 24th will offer 1,448 beds in Austin’s West Campus neighborhood. The Maryland project, Union on Knox will include 788 student beds along with 22,000 square feet of retail space. Construction on all projects began last month with completion scheduled for fall 2024. “The successful financial close and groundbreaking of these three projects is a tremendous achievement by our development, finance, investment and university partnerships teams,” says Julie Skolnicki, senior managing director of Greystar.
