Greystar Wins Approval for Courthouse Landmark Block Redevelopment

Greystar has won approval for a 20 story mixed-use tower on seven parcels that make up the Courthouse Landmark Block. Plans call for the demolition of the site’s seven commercial buildings while preserving the facades of the existing Investment Building and First Federal Savings and Loan Building, listed on the County’s Historic Resources Inventory. The new building will include 423 apartments along with 17,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.  As part of the project, a 10-foot stretch of N Uhle Street will be converted to a pedestrian-only promenade connecting Clarendon and Wilson Boulevards.
