Ground Broken at Gasworx W2
Contractor Juneau Construction has broken ground on Gasworx W2. Located in historic Ybor City, this new mixed-use multifamily project will span 390 units across more than 368,000 square feet. With a 486-space precast parking garage, residents will have access to nearly 9,000 square feet of retail space. This new community will have lush amenities including a rooftop terrace, a fitness center, a dog spa, and club room. The project is a component of Gasworx, the proposed master planned development that would add as many as 5,000 homes, 500,000 square feet of office space and 150,000 square feet of retail space. The Gas Worx project would connect Tampa’s historic Ybor City with the Channel District and the Water Street development. Spread out over 50 acres, the development is being rolled out in stages and includes the redevelopment of a 70,000 square foot warehouse and the demolition of the vacant Tampa Park apartment complex.
