Ground Broken at Oasis at Aventura
Developer Housing Trust Group has secured financing and construction is underway at Oasis at Aventura, which will rise 8 stories and include 95one-bedroom affordable senior apartments, along with 65 parking spaces. The community is the most recent joint venture between Housing Trust Group and AM Affordable Housing, a non-profit founded NBA Hall of Famer and former Miami Heat player Alonzo Mourning. The apartments will be designated for residents aged 62 and older who earn at or below 25, 33, and 60 percent of the area median income (AMI). Community amenities include a gym, a club room, and an outdoor terrace. Residents will also have access to on-site complimentary programs Resident Assurant check-ins, assistance with grocery shopping, housekeeping, laundry, grocery as well as community activities and events. The location is convenient to the Brightline Aventura Station, Aventura Mall as well as other retail venues. Completion is expected in 2025.
