Halsted Point Development Pending Approval
The Halsted Point development is pending approval; it will bring a mega-development with five highrise towers to the Goose Island neighborhood. Goose Island is an artificial island in Chicago that is being re-developed into a new district. The five-tower development will add 2650 residential units and take over 10 years to complete. Halsted Point will take upwards of 8 acres, and the towers will rise as high as 56 stories. 3.8 of the acres will remain as open spaces for parks, a riverwalk, and plazas.
