Hefty Mixed-Use Building Proposed for Gowanus
An 11-story, mixed-use development has been proposed for 540 Degraw Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Developed by , the building would contain residential units, consisting of both market-rate apartments and affordable housing. It would also have square feet of commercial space for retail and offices. On top of this, plans call for an enclosed parking garage with enough room for vehicles. Designed by , the structure would stand feet tall and total square feet. An existing 2-story industrial building would have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development.
