Brookfield Properties has financed the historic multifamily property at 129 Franklin Street in Cambridge through Citibank for $177,000,000. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Kennedy Biscuit Lofts at University Park were once home to the Frank A. Kennedy Steam Bakery, which produced Lorna Doone and Fig Newton cookies, among others. KBL offers 142 apartments and top-notch building features and amenities.
