Interior Finish Work Ongoing for New Saugus Middle/High School
Interior finish work is ongoing for the new 270,000 square foot combined middle & high school in Saugus. The modern new building which will offer space for over 1300 students in grades 6-12 is expected to open this coming fall. The project will include state-of-the-art science labs and technology classrooms, and a 750-seat auditorium. Outside, student gardens and outdoor classrooms are being constructed along with new walking paths and track will be built for community use. Once the new school is open the neighboring old high school will be demolished and a new stadium will be built on that site.
