Interior Finishing Ongoing at 49 Fisk Street
General contractor, , is finishing the interiors of a 6-story, residential project, going up at 49 Fisk Street in Jersey City's West Side area. The building topped out back in April and it now has its full facade installed. The bones of the structure consist of a cast-in-place (CIP) concrete podium, Com-Slab metal bracing, and wood framing, covered by a brick exterior.
Developed by , and to be known as "The Birch House", the development is set to contain luxury apartment units, offered in studio, one, and two-bedroom configurations.
Tenant amenities are to include a fitness center, a working lounge, a game room, a speakeasy bar and lounge, a roof deck, and a fully landscaped courtyard. Plans also call for an enclosed, car parking garage, fitted with charging stations for electric vehicles.
Designed by , 49 Fisk Street stands feet tall and totals square feet. Construction is expected to wrap up by December of 2023, but Halpern also states that it has the ability to expand the development in the future, with a second phase that could add up to 150 units if needed.
