Interior Finishing Ongoing at Highgarden Tower
General contractor,
, is wrapping up the interior finishing process for a new, 19-story, residential tower, at 11 Garden Street in New Rochelle, New York. Jointly developed by Georgica Green Ventures (GGV) and New Destiny Housing, the building is known as Highgarden Tower.
Highgarden Tower will contain
apartments, offered in studio, one, two, and three-bedroom configurations. All of the units are to be dedicated to affordable housing programs, and approximately 77 will also be reserved for victims of domestic violence. In addition to residential units, the building will feature a private playground for residents and a new public plaza, located on the corner of Garden Street and North Avenue. There will also be a parking garage, with enough room for
vehicles.
Designed by
, Highgarden Tower was approved back in 2019, and construction began at the beginning of 2021. The project has employed roughly 200 people and work is expected to complete in the coming months.
