Interior Finishing Proceeds for Chelsea Academic Building
Interior finishing is well underway at 220 West 28th Street. The brand new building is being constructed for the Fashion Institute of Technology, and it will soon become the newest addition to its Chelsea, Manhattan campus.
The 10-story structure will contain new administrative offices, classrooms, and exhibition areas. It will also boast an indoor student quad, spanning the entire 5th floor.
Designed by , with serving as the general contractor, 220 West 28th stands feet tall and totals square feet. Construction is expected to finish within a few months time.
