Jasko Development Acquires Old New Britain Post Office With Renovation Plans
The local post office in the 1970s, 114 West Main Street is an office building in New Britain. It was first converted into office space by the Knaus family, who took all the necessary steps to maintain the historical neoclassical architecture of the building getting an award from the Hartford Architecture Conservancy.
In June of 2022, it was purchased by Avner Krohn, the CEO of Jasko Development in New Britain. The new plans for the building include renovations like building new retaining walls, repairs, and restorations all with the goal of finding tenants for the space which is currently about half occupied.
