Luxury Journal Square Mixed-Use Receiving Final Touches
General contractor, , is finishing up the interiors and adding the final exterior trim pieces at "Overlook Flats"; a brand new, 15-story, mixed-use project, located at 32 Oakland Avenue in Jersey City's Journal Square neighborhood.
Developed by , the building will contain luxury rental apartments, offered in studio, and one to three-bedroom configurations.
Supplementing its residential portion, the structure will feature square feet of office space, and square feet of ground-floor retail space. It will also have an enclosed (and automated) parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
The icing on the cake for tenants is an extensive collection of amenities. This will include a large roof deck, complete with a swimming pool, and a hot tub, a fitness center with a H.I.I.T studio, various lounges and co-working spaces, a golf simulator, a recreation room, a children's playroom, a pet playground and dog wash, a smart package room, and a bicycle storage area.
Designed by , Overlook Flats stands feet tall and totals square feet.
The project was constructed within the Journal Square 2060 Redevelopment Plan Area, and the building has been designed to achieve LEED certification. With little work left to do, we can likely expect construction to wrap up fully within the next couple of months or so.
