Major Renovations Planned for Back Bay Affordable Housing Building
The Boston Housing Authority has submitted a small project review application to the BPDA for planned renovations to 70 St. Botolph Street. The building, originally constructed in the early 1970s features 132 units plus a management office and tenant common space. The renovation project would include exterior envelope repairs, and replacements, renovations to common areas and individual units, and upgrades to fire protection, HVAC, and MEP systems.
BHA anticipates the notice to proceed (NTP) for the construction will be issued in the Fall of 2020 and construction will be completed within 730 calendar days from the date of the NTP.
