Massive Gravesend Development Parcel Sells for $51.25M
A large, vacant development parcel, located at 2731 West 12th Street in Brooklyn's Gravesend neighborhood, has just traded hands for $51.25 million. The property was purchased by logistics real estate titan, Prologis, from the previous owner, National Grid, in a deal brokered by JLL.
The lot spans 16.25 acres and has been vacant for decades. It's not yet known what Prologis plans to do with the property, but it seems most likely that we'll see the firm build a warehouse or distribution center of some kind on the lot.
