Mixed-Use Development Planned in Hallandale Beach
Developer Pacific Star Capital is planning a mixed-use development in Hallandale Beach that would include 720 apartments, 130,100 square feet of retail, including a 46,500-square foot grocery anchor, potentially Whole Foods, along with 1,217 parking spaces in two 20-story towers. The plans show pool decks on the fifth and sixth floors of the apartment buildings, along with amenities including a fitness center. The 8.05-acre development site is north of Gulfstream Park, an existing 65,049-square foot shopping center that is mostly vacant is currently on the site, it will be demolished prior to the start of construction.
