New Mixed-Use Development Proposed in Homestead, Florida
Developer The Vestcor Companies, Inc. has submitted plans for a new mixed-use development in Homestead, Florida. Ambar Station, will include 576 residential units, 8,300 square feet of commercial space and 852 parking spaces, with 158 designated for electric vehicle charging. Of the residential units, 12.5% (72) will be allocated for workforce housing. The development will consist of two eight-story buildings and two three-story buildings. Among the community amenities will be two pools. The 7.83-acre site is occupied by two apartment buildings and a vacant retail building, which will be demolished.
