NU Proposes 26 Story Tower at 840 Columbus Avenue
Just months after opening their newest dorm, Lightview, Northeastern University again in partnership with American Campus Communities has now proposed a 26-story tower at 840 Columbus Ave. The project would feature a five-story podium to contain academic and or office space with 21 stories of student housing above. A total of approximately 975 beds would be offered along with amenities including a fitness center, student lounges, and study space. According to the project filing, construction would begin in the first quarter of 2021 and would last around 31 months.
