Permits Filed for 8-Story Rental Project in Crown Heights
Building permits have just been filed for an 8-story, residential development, at 291 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn's Crown Heights neighborhood. Developed by , the building is set to contain rental apartments. In addition to housing, it will feature 1,378 square feet of community facility space, located on the ground floor. Permit filings state that this will either be used as a health care center or an ambulatory diagnostic facility. Plans also call for a bicycle storage area, a two-story cellar, and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. An existing, 4-story apartment building, will have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development.
