Plans Updated for Harvard Square Garage to Allow Labs
Plans have been revised for the Harvard Square Garage. The planned floorspace for the new development has been reduced from 110,000 SF to 87,494 SF with the height increased from 4 to 6 stories. The project usage has been modified to include planned lab/life science space.
Located at 36 John F. Kennedy Street, The Garage currently features a 4-story parking-garage-turned-retail-mall. Redevelopment plans would retain the historic facade and include new ground-floor retail space.
