Public Plaza Underway for New Rochelle
Located along Anderson Street, what will be known as Anderson Plaza, a pedestrian plaza and shopping corridor, is underway. A part of the 25 Maple Avenue development plans on top of the rental building, the project is a public-private partnership between the City of New Rochelle and developers WBP Development LLC and L+M Development Partners, with this facet project coming up to about $4M.
This transformation of public space is just the latest in area's revitalization with a gallery space, a theater, and 25 Maple Avenue.
