Scoping Determination Released for Planned Fenway Office Block
A scoping determination has been filed for 1380 Boylston Street in Boston's Fenway neighborhood. Among the comments include calls for an increase in public space from the planned 5,000 SF.
"Three to five thousand square feet as documented in the PNF is insufficient to meaningfully support Fenway’s cultural ecosystem," said the City in the release. "We encourage the proponent to consider how additional square footage can be designed and operated to support cultural uses, including additional ground-floor and upper floor spaces."
The project will feature a 182-foot, SF mixed-use development featuring square feet of office/R&D floorspace as well as ground-floor retail and a public plaza facing Boston's Emerald Necklace.
