Seaport Lab Cluster Continues to Grow: Another 740KSF Project is Under Review
Marcus Partners has filed plans for a 2 building lab project on Parcel X in the Seaport. The development would include a total of 742,000 square feet inclusive of 22,000 square feet of amenity and retail space. As part of the project, the grade will be raised on a portion of the site to protect against future potential sea-level rise. To enable the effort the firm will also develop a new 36,000 square foot seafood processing facility for two of the tenants on the existing site. According to the filing, the project will be developed in 2 stages with construction expected to commence in 2023 on phase 1.
