SEC Plans Move to New 1.2M SF NoMa HQ
Douglas Development has announced that the Securities and Exchange Commission has signed a lease to move its HQ to an upcoming development along New York Avenue in NoMa. The new 1.2M square-foot HQ would have space for up to 4,500 employees. “Our vision to redevelop this expansive, free-standing site began 30 years ago when we first purchased the land, and it’s exciting to finally see it come to fruition. We worked with a world-class tenant in GSA and believe this project will be a catalyst for the continued growth and opportunity for the surrounding community that is north of NY Avenue,” said Norman Jemal, managing principal of Douglas Development.
