Site Work Underway on 3 Million SF Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment
With initial site work underway, demolition is set to begin for the vacant buildings on Medford, Tufts, and Corey Streets in Charlestown as a redevelopment project takes off on the Bunker Hill Housing complex.
Plans call for a redevelopment of the existing 27.24-acre, 1,100-unit Bunker Hill public housing project into 2,699 mixed-income residential units with a neighborhood retail component. In total, project will span square-feet of newly-construction space.
