Slight Setback for 77-63 Vleigh Place
A zoning application for an 8-story project, proposed at 77-63 Vleigh Place in Kew Gardens, Queens is back in the hands of the City Planning Commission (CPC). This comes after the City Council suggested modifications, which is a fairly standard procedure to ensure that all of the regulators involved are happy with the actions proposed. The CPC is now reviewing these modifications and will have to approve them before the application can return to the City Council. The application in question requests map and text amendments for a mixed-use structure that would contain 119 rental apartments and 46,474 square feet of commercial space. Developed by VP Capital Holdings LLC, and designed by Jarmel Kizel Architects, the building would stand 85 feet tall and total 189,418 square feet.
