Superstructure Begins to Rise at 126 East 57th Street
Concrete superstructure pours have begun for the first few floors of a 28-story, luxury tower project, going up at 126 East 57th Street in Midtown, Manhattan.
Developed by , the building will contain residential condos, as well as 4,056 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Tenant amenities are to include a basketball court, a fitness center, and a rooftop swimming pool.
Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. The project site has been assembled as such that the tower will be constructed at 686 Lexington Avenue, with the main entrance, located around the corner at 126 East 57th Street.
General contractor, , first broke ground on the project during the summer of 2022, and construction is expected to wrap up by early 2025. Last December, the team obtained a $170 million loan from Bank OZK, which is being used to fund all construction costs from the ground up.
