Superstructure Begins to Rise at 3880 Ninth Avenue
The first few floors of the concrete superstructure have now been poured for a 17-story, mixed-use project, going up at 3880 Ninth Avenue (alternately addressed as 401 West 207th Street) in Manhattan's Inwood neighborhood.
Developed by Brooklyn-based developer, , the building will contain apartment units, and square feet of retail space, located on the ground floor. Plans also call for a cellar level, and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles. Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet altogether. is serving as the general contractor
The site spans square feet and was previously occupied by a Speedway-branded gas station. The property was purchased for $25 million back in March of 2022, and in September of 2023, lender, BHI, supplied a $92 million loan which is being used to fund all construction costs. The project is expected to complete sometime in 2025.
