Superstructure Pours Underway for Huge Crown Heights Rental Project

Subcontractor, RC Structures, recently shared progress photos giving us a glimpse at the initial concrete superstructure pours at 54 Crown Street; a 17-story, residential project, going up in Brooklyn's Crown Heights neighborhood.

Developed and constructed by , with  serving as the architect, the square foot building is set to contain rental apartments and square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Plans also call for 1,325 square feet of community facility space, and a large, enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.

Back in August, the team secured a $233 million construction loan for the project. The loan was issued by Urban Investment Group, a real estate and community development lending division of Goldman Sachs.
