Switch from apartments to condominiums approved for 340 West Second Street residential development in South Boston


Developer Shamus Holdings, LLC received approval at today’s Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) Board Meeting to construct 29 condominium residences at 340 West Second Street in South Boston, as opposed to 29 apartments as approved in 2013. Four residences will still be designated affordable as originally approved, and 1,000 square feet of commercial space and a 43-car garage will still be constructed on the building's ground floor. 340 West Second Street can now proceed with construction.
