Washington Street Property Acquired for $4.25 Million
Brookline Development Corporation has acquired the property at 101-105 Washington Street in Brighton, MA for $4.25 million. The approved residential building and religious facilities will be built on the site of an existing Brighton synagogue and ritual bath.
Both existing buildings will be razed, and three new buildings will be constructed including a new residential building containing 70 rental units as well as a new synagogue and ritual bath. The residential building will rise seven stories and will contain 1 and 2-bedroom units; nine units will be designated affordable. Resident amenities will include a roof deck and rooftop lounge.
