Winchester Green Breaks Ground in New Haven
Joint developers, Twining Properties and LMXD (an affordable housing affiliate of L+M Development Partners), have broken ground on a 5-story, mixed-use project, at 315 Winchester Avenue in the Science Park neighborhood of New Haven, Connecticut. Known as "Winchester Green", it will contain 283 apartments (including 57 affordable housing units). Units will be offered in studio and one to three-bedroom configurations. Plans also call for 12,800 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
The project is expected to cost $90 million and is being funded by Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Urban Investment Group, KeyBank, and the New Haven Housing Authority.
