Woodside Residential Development Nears Approval
A proposed residential project at 62-04 Roosevelt Avenue in Woodside, Queens is just a couple of steps away from being fully approved. Developer, Woodside 63 Management LLC is seeking zoning map changes and text amendments to facilitate a 13-story building with 213 residential units (including 54 affordable units). At this time the proposal is in review by the City Council. The project has already been approved by the Community Board, Borough President, and City Planning Commission. If the City Council seeks to recommend the project, the last step will be mayoral review before the green light is given. Given the positive reception this proposal has received thus far, approval is expected.
