Work Begins on Affordable Housing Project in Bed-Stuy
Project developer and general contractor, , has started excavation on an 8-story, mixed-use project, set to rise at 1510 Broadway in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.
The building is being developed in partnership with the East Brooklyn Housing Development Corporation and is planned to contain affordable housing units. The structure will also have square feet of retail space, located on the ground floor.
Designed by , 1510 Broadway will stand approximately feet tall and total square feet. Measuring square feet, the irregularly shaped project site is bound by Hancock Street, Broadway, and Saratoga Avenue. Construction is estimated to take until 2024.
