Proposed new-construction nine-story, 635,372-square-foot mixed-use building intended for commercial office, research and development (R&D), laboratory and retail uses. 375,000 square feet of core laboratory and office space would be located on floors two through nine, with 25,000 square feet of retail located on the ground floor.
A total of 482,136 square feet would be located above ground. Large rooftop terraces would be located on floors two and nine, with smaller balconies throughout. Three levels of parking containing 379 spaces totaling 153,236 square feet would be located underneath the building. 100 bicycle storage spaces would also be provided.
Construction of 101 Dawes Street would last 28 months pending city approval. The proposed building would be the next phase of DivcoWest's 45-acre, 4.5-million-square-foot Cambridge Crossing development, which upon completion will feature 2.1 million square feet of state-of-the-art science and technology-geared office space, 2.4 million square feet of residential space with 2,400 residential units and 100,000 square feet of retail.
