The 10' public alley adjacent to construction will received new concrete pavement. 2 new ADA compliant curb ramps will replace the one non-ADA compliant curb ramp at the southwest corner of L Street NW and 17th Street NW. There is an existing underground garage projection for 4 total levels that project 11.17' from the back of curb. Existing portions of these existing vaults will be backfilled and abandoned while other portions will be existing to remain. Special sidewalk paving is proposed per the allowable DDOT extents fronting the main entrance. There are 5 existing Pepco vaults (4 transformer and 1 bus) and southwest most transformer will be removed.
